I'm having a tough time disabling Hyper-V on my Windows 11 Pro system. No matter what I do, it keeps re-enabling itself in the 'Windows Features' menu. I've already tried several methods:
1. Stopping Hyper-V services through the Services management console.
2. Ensuring that Hyper-V and associated features like the Windows Hypervisor Platform and Linux subsystem for Windows are unchecked in the Windows Features menu.
3. I executed the command to disable the hypervisorlaunchtype in PowerShell.
4. I also disabled Device Guard and Memory Integrity in Core Isolation.
5. I followed Microsoft's instructions for Windows 11 24H2 regarding the Device Guard and Credential Guard tool.
6. Lastly, I ran various PowerShell commands to disable Hyper-V completely.
Despite all this, I can't seem to remove or fully disable Hyper-V, and I really want to revert my setup. Any suggestions?

It sounds frustrating! One thing you might want to try is running the DISM command to disable Hyper-V. Use this command in an elevated PowerShell: `DISM /Online /Disable-Feature:Microsoft-Hyper-V`. This could help fully disable Hyper-V if the usual methods are failing.
Also, check if Device Guard or virtualization-based security is still enabled as they can sometimes keep Hyper-V active. You might want to go into Group Policy Editor and make sure everything that could interfere is actually turned off.
Depending on your system configuration, there might be a third-party application or a driver enforcing these settings. If you're still having no luck, you could consider a clean install of Windows 11 after backing up your data, as that will certainly reset everything.
