Is it possible to keep Windows without security concerns?

I've been hearing a lot of negative things about OneDrive, and it's made me seriously consider switching to Linux. However, I'm anxious that I might need Windows for certain programs in the future. If I install Linux alongside Windows, will Windows continue to operate or update on that drive, or do I need to get rid of Windows entirely?

In my experience, keeping Windows on the drive doesn’t really impact Linux. If you’re not using Windows, it doesn’t do anything to your Linux files.

I’d recommend deleting Windows completely. If you want to dual boot, just make sure to disable fast startup in Windows first.

Honestly, I think OneDrive can actually be pretty useful, as long as you don’t just blindly agree to everything that pops up. The bad rep it gets isn’t completely justified in my opinion.

Since OneDrive is a cloud service, if you don’t plan on using Windows, just go ahead and remove it. You can always set up a virtual machine or dual boot if you change your mind later.
