I'm experiencing a frustrating issue where my displays cut out intermittently on two separate setups. One setup includes an Intel i7 13th generation paired with an NVIDIA GeForce 4070 Ti connected to a 4K Samsung monitor, which is set to 120Hz. The other setup is an Ultra 9 system with a 5070 Ti using a TCL Q7 television, also set to 120Hz. The screens seem to drop signal randomly during demanding gaming sessions or even while watching movies. The Samsung monitor displays a 'no signal' message, and I have to reconnect the display port, while the TCL TV goes black before reconnecting. I've updated all drivers and firmware, and I'm using cables rated for 240Hz at 4K. Lowering to 60Hz reduces the frequency of the issue, but it still happens. Any ideas on what might be causing this? I'm wondering if it has something to do with NVIDIA settings, but I'm unsure how to adjust them.

Not trying to be funny, but try using a different chair. I had a gaming chair that discharged static electricity when I moved. It caused random signal drops on my display. It might sound odd, but the issue could be more than just hardware!
Try turning off variable refresh rates and G-Sync on all your devices and see if that helps. Disabling G-Sync made a significant difference for me in the past. I couldn't find a VRR option in NVIDIA settings, but focusing on G-Sync might solve your issue.
I've had a similar problem while gaming on my TV. It turned out my HDMI cable wasn't actually HDMI 2.1, which I thought it was! I ended up ordering a proper HDMI 2.1 cable, and since then, I've had no flickering issues. Given you have dual displays, it could still be the HDMI connection to your TV that's causing the problem, so it's worth checking your cables first.
How long are your HDMI cables? If they're long runs, they could be the problem. Also, are they going through an audio-video receiver? If you've replaced your cables and the issue persists when swapping setups, consider turning off any upscaling features and see if that changes anything.
This sounds like the same issue I had when I connected my home theater PC to an LG CX OLED TV; I had to switch to HDMI 2.1 cables for 4K at 120Hz to eliminate the flickering. I also use a fiber DP cable for long runs to avoid issues. If you’re running long distances, look into fiber cable solutions, they're often more reliable!
