I've been having an issue with my desktop PC where my headset's microphone is picking up audio from videos I'm watching, like YouTube, even when I've physically muted it. This became apparent during a Discord voice call, and a subsequent test in Windows showed the same problem. Previously, closing Discord would temporarily fix it, but now it seems to be happening regardless of Discord. I'm running Windows 11 with Realtek audio and an NVIDIA graphics card.

If you're using an analog headset, it could be crosstalk from your audio jacks. Make sure your noise-canceling features are turned on.
This happens to me all the time! It's super frustrating, especially when I can't use Discord to chat with friends because of it.
I feel your pain! I’ve noticed similar problems since Windows 11's update. It seems like AI settings have messed with audio management. I've stripped some AI features from my Windows using a tool, but the issues still pop up.
Check your sound settings for something called 'stereo mix'. That option can loop your system audio back to the mic. If it's enabled, try disabling it and see if that helps.

I have a Razer Shark X V2 that connects via jack, not USB. Could that be causing the issue?
