I've been experiencing a frustrating issue where my music glitches out while I'm driving. This problem has been occurring for at least a year and I've tried a bunch of workarounds, but now those aren't even working anymore. The glitches primarily happen when my phone is connected to my car's Bluetooth audio and the Spotify app is active on the screen. If I switch to the home screen or another app, the glitches stop. Recently, the glitches have started happening even when Spotify isn't open, and they're becoming more frequent.
To clarify, while Spotify has glitches, I can listen to audio from YouTube without issues. However, Instagram and TikTok audio cut off after about two seconds, and phone calls don't connect properly to my car either. Also, I've noted that none of these glitches occurred when I was using loaner cars from the dealership.
Here's what I've tried to fix the issue: uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify, clearing the Spotify cache, restarting my phone, toggling low power mode, force closing apps, and even getting a new phone. I also replaced my car's radio at the dealership, but the problem is still there.
For reference, I'm using an iPhone 16 and a Lexus CT200h with the stock radio. I really need some help figuring out what's going on!

It sounds like the issue might be related to Bluetooth connectivity between your phone and the car. It's possible that the car's radio is acting up as the Bluetooth receiver. If your car has a separate Bluetooth module, that could be the culprit. On the other hand, if the problem persists after trying a new phone, it might be a software issue rather than hardware. Also, did this issue start happening after a specific iOS update? That could give clues to the underlying problem.

I can't remember if it started after an update since it feels like it's been so long. It seemed random to me, so I'm unsure if an update was the trigger. I’m also not very tech-savvy and have no clue how to check if it’s the Bluetooth receiver. I initially thought it was a Spotify issue, but the other glitches make me think it’s something else.
