Why are Corsair PSU cables so short for my build?

I recently built my PC with a Corsair SF750 power supply and I'm finding the cables to be unexpectedly short. I had to order a motherboard cable extension since the original didn't reach, but I'm really confused about the hard drive cables. Only the last SATA connector reaches a hard drive, while the others are practically right next to the PSU. I can't seem to find Type 5 cable extenders from the PSU side, and I'm unsure if I should just get multiple SATA extenders on the hard drive side—seems like a messy solution. Can anyone explain why the cords are so short and suggest what I should do? Here are my parts for context: Corsair SF750 (with Type 5 cables), and a Z90 Aorus Elite AX motherboard. Thanks for any help!

You might be dealing with an SFF (small form factor) PSU designed for compact cases, which explains why your cables are so short. These PSUs typically come with shorter cables to fit smaller builds. If you're using a standard ATX case, they won't reach very far. Maybe consider getting a full ATX PSU instead?

Yeah, I think you're right! I reused an old Cooler Master HAF 922 mid tower and that might be where I'm going wrong. Would you still recommend changing to a different PSU since I can't hide all the extra cables?
