I've been trying to convert some image files to PDFs using a couple of software apps I installed, specifically PDFshaper and PDFsam. However, whenever I convert the images, they end up as HTML files instead of PDFs, and they even have the browser logo as their thumbnail. Even after uninstalling those apps, I'm still facing the same issue. How can I restore it to the way it was so that I can successfully convert images to PDFs instead of HTML documents?

I noticed something similar. The files open correctly as PDFs, but they show up as HTML files in the folder view. This can sometimes be a caching issue or a file association problem, so you may need to reset how your OS handles PDF files.
You might want to check out ImageToPDF; it's generally reliable for this sort of task. But I've seen cases where it still serves up HTML instead of a PDF. I think it might be related to how the files are associated on your system rather than the software itself.
