I'm considering purchasing a PC for around $1000 and I'm curious if it's a good deal for playing competitive games at 1080p and AAA games at 4K. Here are the specs:
**Processor**: Intel i5 12400F (12 CPUs)
**Memory**: 16 GB Dual Channel RAM
**Motherboard**: H610M Motherboard
**Graphics**: Nvidia RTX 5060 (8 GB)
**Storage**: 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD
**Power Supply**: Aigo 650W Bronze

I think it's okay for 1080p, but for 4K, it's just too much for this build.
Also, the storage is pretty weak for modern gaming.
It's decent for competitive games at 1080p. But when it comes to 4K, this setup just won’t cut it.
Honestly, I wouldn't pay more than $400-$500 for this build.
You can't even assemble that for $500! Where do you find those magical sales on computer parts?
Honestly, I’d say no. For true 4K gaming with AAA titles, you'd need at least a 5070 Ti or even higher. This rig should handle 1080p competitive games just fine, but 4K is pushing it, maybe a 5060 Ti would do better.
Yeah, I agree! A 5070 or 9070 could work if you're willing to adjust settings with features like FSR 4 or DLSS.

Totally! Plus, 4K monitors can be pricey, so getting a better GPU like the 9060 XT with more storage and sticking to a 1440p monitor might be the way to go.
