I received a text claiming my lost iPhone was found, accompanied by a link to check the location. I opened the link in Safari but quickly got suspicious because the page looked like an Apple login screen, so I closed it right away. I didn't input my Apple ID, password, or any code. Can I be considered safe just from opening the link? Is there any chance of malware or account compromise on my iPhone from just visiting a phishing site? Thanks for your insights!

You should be fine! Just opening a phishing page without entering any information won’t compromise your account or install malware. The real risk comes from typing in your details, and since you closed the page immediately, you’re in the clear.
Keep in mind that they do have your IP address, which they could use for port scanning. But if your router is secure and you haven’t set up any port forwarding, you shouldn’t worry too much about it.
