I need to hold a video call between participants who speak Polish and Greek. Ideally, I'd like live speech translation, but translated subtitles would also work. Which video-conferencing tools support these languages, and how can I configure the translation so everyone can follow along?

Live computer translation can be useful, but it is not the same as a professional interpreter. Expect delays and occasional mistakes, especially with accents, background noise, or fast conversation. For an important meeting, use translated captions as assistance and consider a human interpreter if accuracy is critical.
Google Meet and Microsoft Teams both offer translated captions, including Polish and Greek in supported configurations. Each participant may need to turn on captions and select their preferred translation language in their own accessibility or meeting settings. The captions usually appear separately for each viewer rather than being broadcast as one shared subtitle track.
That explains what I’m seeing in Google Meet: I can read my translated captions, but the other participant cannot. They’ll need to enable captions and choose their own target language on their device.
