Accidentally Typed ‘sptofy’ Instead of ‘Spotify’ – Should I Worry About Malware?

I was trying to visit Spotify on Chrome, but I accidentally typed 'sptofy' instead. This led me to a sketchy website that automatically downloaded a folder labeled 'Watch this online' without my consent. I didn't open it and just deleted the folder right away. Is this something to worry about? Should I be checking for malware or taking any other security measures? Thanks for any help!

Don't stress too much about it; you're probably fine. Just be cautious in the future and maybe run a malware scan if you're still worried.

If you ever feel uncertain, a good step is to check your system with an antivirus software. Better safe than sorry! But typically, a single misclick like that isn't a major concern.
