After Installing Ubuntu Alongside Windows, Should I Reactivate Secure Boot and BitLocker?

I just finished installing Ubuntu on my laptop while keeping Windows as a dual boot option. Before the installation, I turned off both Secure Boot and BitLocker because I saw that in a video. Now I'm wondering if I should turn those security features back on or leave them off.

It'd be great if someone could share a step-by-step guide for installing Ubuntu in dual boot mode! I had to disable BitLocker for different reasons earlier when Windows updates were causing booting issues. So, I’m curious if I missed anything important.

I can relate, I faced a similar issue. Here’s a link to the video that helped me: [here](https://youtu.be/mXyN1aJYefc?si=Qspu6tYVyhuyxY2s).

You actually don’t need to disable Secure Boot or BitLocker to install Ubuntu. In fact, if you installed Ubuntu on a separate drive from Windows, you should be fine to turn them back on without any issues. Just make sure everything is set up correctly to avoid any boot problems.

Oops, did I mess up from the start?
