Am I at risk after clicking a strange link?

Hey everyone, I'm not the most tech-savvy person, so bear with me! I was chatting with a friend on Facebook Messenger when I saw a bold message that said "welcome to Nginx!". Since we were talking about travel, I thought it might be a hotel link, so I clicked on it. A weird message popped up saying something about it needing configuration. Now I'm worried I might have a virus or something on my iPhone 13 Pro. I've already changed my Facebook password and cleared all my browsing data on Chrome and Safari. What should I do next?

Just a tip: always be cautious when clicking on links you're not sure about. It's the best way to avoid issues like this in the future!

You're probably fine! The message you saw was from an unconfigured Nginx server, which is just a web server page that wasn’t set up properly. It's not likely to be a virus, especially on your phone. Just stay alert for any unusual activity but you should be good!

Thanks! If something bad had happened, what signs should I look out for?

Nice job on taking precautions! That message likely means the webpage you tried to access was either not ready or set up incorrectly. Your friend might have accidentally sent you a link to a site under construction. Just keep your passwords reset and your phone updated. Watch for any strange behavior on your phone, but you should be okay!
