Am I charging the right amount for my project?

I recently completed a project that I'm not ready to share too many details about, but I can give you a brief overview. It's a fully developed product with 7-8 different routes, each featuring its own functionalities. I designed the architecture to handle a significant number of users. Additionally, I built two servers and a frontend application. This project spanned about two months, and I'm considering charging $2000 for it. Does that sound fair?

Remember, it's less about how much time you spent and more about what value you're providing to the client. Focus on what the market is willing to pay.

You might be underestimating your worth. $2000 for two months of full-time work breaks down to around $25 an hour. Considering you built multiple routes, servers, and a scalable frontend, a price between $5,000 and $8,000 would be more reasonable depending on the client's profile.

You should aim to charge as much as you can based on the value you deliver. Also, be cautious of scope creep—track all changes against your original agreement.

Honestly, if your product works well, $2000 is a great deal. However, if it doesn't function as expected, it might seem overpriced.
