Hey everyone! I've got a question about the APC UPS BVX1200LI-MS model. I've heard that the batteries in these units aren't replaceable. Is that true? The UPS was stored away for two years without being used, which I know can mess with the battery life. It seems a bit frustrating if the entire UPS has to be tossed just because the battery is dead. Any insights on this would be appreciated!

Yeah, for the APC BVX1200LI-MS, when they say it's not user-replaceable, they mean you have to disassemble the whole unit to get to the battery, rather than just popping open a door and swapping it out. It's definitely a hassle if the battery dies, but it can still be done if you're handy!
I found a video guide on replacing the battery for the BVX1200LI-MS. It looks pretty straightforward, but you’ll need to be careful with how you take it apart. Just search for it online if you're looking to tackle it yourself!
Awesome! Do you know where I can find the replacement battery?

So, it's technically replaceable, just not as simple as you’d hope?
