Are my CPU temps too high for gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm new to PC gaming and recently bought a used build from a friend of a friend. I'm diving into sim racing games, specifically playing Le Man Ultimate, which runs really well. However, I've noticed that my CPU temps are averaging around 90 degrees Celsius while gaming, sometimes peaking at 93. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X with a NZXT Kraken X52 cooler. Is it safe to continue gaming at these temperatures? I've read mixed opinions online and am a bit worried. If needed, I can share pictures of my setup to show the cooling system. Thanks!

Those temps are technically within the safe range according to AMD's specs. However, you could lower them by tweaking your Precision Boost Overdrive settings and undervolting the CPU; this can help reduce heat and power consumption. Just keep an eye on it, as higher temps could lead to random crashes later on. It's also a good idea to check if your CPU cooler is mounted correctly and free of dust. Aim to keep your temps below 80 degrees for better long-term stability.

True, those temps are safe, but they are on the higher end. If it rises a bit more, you might face random shutdowns. Make sure all your fans are working properly, and consider reapplying thermal paste if it's been a while. High CPU temps can also impact your motherboard's longevity.
