Are My Ryzen 7 7800X3D Temperatures Normal?

I recently bought a pre-built PC featuring a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU. Everything in the setup is new, including the Deepcool AG500 ARGB cooler and the DarkFlash DB 330M RGB case with three fans. While gaming, especially in PUBG on low settings, my CPU temperature fluctuates between 80-85°C, and occasionally even hits 86.7°C, despite my temperature limit being set to 85°C. I've also adjusted the core offset to -30, but it hasn't made a significant difference. I'm concerned about these temperatures and how they might rise in the summer heat. Should I be worried about these readings, and what steps can I take to reduce them, if necessary?

You might want to consider reapplying thermal paste as well. It can make a difference in how your cooler performs, especially if it’s been on for a while. Just a tip if you’re looking for every little advantage to reduce temps.

Honestly, your temperatures are still within safe limits. 89°C is the TjMax for this CPU, so anything below that is okay and won't cause issues. If you're looking for a good cooler, a high-end dual-tower air cooler or an AIO water cooler would work great, but it's not strictly necessary unless performance is critical for you.

What dual-tower coolers are good for this range? I’m considering an upgrade myself.

If you want lower temps, switching to a dual tower cooler could make a big difference. Your current cooler is a single fan type and it might not be enough for high performance in games. Those new processors run a bit hotter, but upgrading your cooler could help keep temperatures down.

Any specific model you'd recommend for cooling? I could use some suggestions too!
