Are Power Delivery (PD) Chargers Better for Safety Compared to Standard Chargers?

I've been dealing with inconsistent power delivery from my outlets, and it's made me worry about damaging my tablet while charging. My original charger has stopped working, and I suspect it's due to this poor energy source, even though I'm using an outlet extension with a breaker. I want to know if a PD charger would handle these energy fluctuations better, providing some protection for my device. Is there a risk of damaging my tablet with standard chargers, or does the damage mainly affect the charger itself? What are some effective ways to protect my device from these power issues?

It's mostly about the brand and quality of the charger rather than just the PD feature. A good, reliable charger can handle fluctuations better and might offer better protection. If you’re concerned about power quality, you might want to look into power conditioners designed for home theater setups. They help, but they’re not foolproof. For even more protection, a UPS could help with fluctuations, but if the problems are constant, even a UPS might not be enough without spending quite a bit on an online model.

Thanks so much! I'll look into power conditioners to see if they help.
