I'm planning to build a new gaming PC in January, and I'm trying to decide between the 9070 and the 5070 for the best value. My total budget is around $1100-$1200, including the monitor. I'll be pairing the GPU with a 7500F processor. Here are the prices I'm looking at: the 9070 non-XT is $704.27, the 9070 XT is $751, and the 5070 non-TI is $637. I want to ensure I can play triple-A games at 2K resolution with high graphics settings and good FPS. I've heard people mention that the 5070 has less VRAM. Is the extra 4GB of VRAM worth the $67 price difference? Which GPU performs better overall?

Based on the prices you're considering, the 9070 XT is definitely the best option. It generally outperforms the 5070 in most games, especially in rasterization. Although the 5070 holds up decently when ray tracing is activated, the 9070 XT still tends to pull ahead. If you can stretch your budget a bit, I’d recommend the 9070 XT without hesitation!

That makes sense. But would it be wise to cut down on other components like RAM to afford the 9070 XT?
