Are unrar.online and unzip.online safe to use for extracting files?

I often download large games that take up significant storage space. When I extract these files, it seems to double the storage used because it creates separate folders for the extracted files. I came across recommendations for using unrar.online and unzip.online, but I'm uncertain about their safety and reliability. Can anyone share their thoughts on whether these sites are trustworthy?

A simple fix is to get a decent USB drive. I use a 250GB SD card to download files first, then extract them to my SSD or HDD depending on how quickly I need to run the game.

If you have a lot of downloads, consider deleting some old files to free up space for extraction. You might need to manage your storage better.

I really doubt any of these services handle large files for free. They might be really slow or not worth the hassle.

For safety, set up an old desktop or laptop with a big HDD or SSD. Download the files there, unzip or unrar them, scan for malware, and then use a flash drive to transfer to your main PC.

I don't really get what the issue is here. Just unzip the files and then delete the original zipped ones afterward.

The problem is I don't have enough space to do that!

The sites you mentioned basically convert files from RAR to ZIP. You'll still need to extract them afterward, which means you'll end up needing as much space as before. They seem kinda pointless since they don’t actually reduce the space needed for extraction.
