I'm looking for options to help my cousin, who is deaf, wake up on time. She typically uses her phone on vibrate under her pillow, but it's not very effective. I heard there are alarms that can also flash lights when they go off. Can anyone recommend reliable solutions or devices for waking someone up without sound? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Don't forget to enable the 'LED Flash for Alerts' option in Accessibility settings on her phone! While it's usually for notifications, it can work for alarms too, making sure she sees it flash and gets up on time.
From my experience as a deaf person, just relying on your phone isn’t the best bet. A smartwatch could be a great solution! If she has an iPhone, an Apple Watch is perfect; if she's a Samsung user, then a Samsung watch would work too. They vibrate strongly enough to wake you up without disturbing others. Another affordable option is a bed shaker alarm clock that vibrates a pad under the mattress to literally shake you awake!
I suggest checking out specialized shops for deaf people, like connevans.co.uk. They offer great products. There's also some decent bed-shaker alarm clocks on Amazon, but I had one break after only a few months, so I’d recommend going with a reputable brand if possible. Sometimes, local councils or charities might provide these tools for free, depending on where she lives!
I’m not deaf but I have hearing difficulties myself. My Apple Watch is fantastic as an alarm, unlike my phone which often wakes my partner instead and leads to some funny but annoying moments!
