I'm planning to upgrade my current setup, switching from an Intel 10700K to a new AMD CPU while aiming to maximize the performance of my 9070XT GPU. I'm considering a few options: the 9700X, the 7600X3D, and the pricier 7800X3D (which I'm hesitant about spending on unless it's a significant upgrade). My main focus is gaming, as I have another setup for work. Microcenter has these bundles available: 9700X for $429, 7600X3D for $449, 7700X for $399, and 7800X3D for $579. What CPU would best prevent bottlenecking with my 9070XT? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, any of those CPUs shouldn't bottleneck your 9070XT. They all sit within a good range for gaming. If you're looking for the best value, I'd recommend the 7600X3D since it performs almost like the more expensive 7950X3D and 7900X3D for gaming. The slight performance edge of the 7800X3D isn’t worth the extra cash, in my opinion, especially if you're focused on just gaming.
7600X3D is really the standout here for price/performance. You get very good gaming capabilities without overspending, which is what everybody should aim for!
If you're strictly into gaming, I’d say go with the 7600X3D. It offers great performance for just a bit more than the 9700X, and it’s a better fit for your GPU at that price point.
Totally agree! Plus, that 7600X3D is often touted as the best for gaming performance and price ratio.
