Best Sensors for Monitoring Heat and Water in a Server Room?

I'm managing a server room for a midsized business, which mostly consists of one server rack and some networking equipment mounted on the walls. Since the room is rarely entered, I'm looking for a reliable solution that can monitor the temperature and detect water or moisture at floor level. Specifically, I need a device that connects via Wi-Fi or Ethernet and can send alerts through email if the temperature gets too high or if there's moisture. I've browsed options online, but they mostly seem geared towards basements and come with built-in alarms. Ideally, I want something practical without breaking the bank—around $1,500 for advanced systems is just out of reach. Any recommendations?

We use our local security system for monitoring—covers water detection and temperature/humidity alarms. Plus, it's active even when the main alarm isn't armed, using Ethernet and has cellular backup. Works like a charm!

I’d recommend checking out the Watchdog 15 from Vertiv Geist. It’s quite affordable, connects via PoE or an adapter, and it works wonders—I'm using it with PRTG for monitoring. Just a heads up, some users mentioned it was discontinued, so it might be a hit or miss right now.

Yeah, I heard they stopped making them, which is a bummer.

Have a look at the basic Room Alert 300 series. It's user-friendly and comes with a sensor. It’s an adequate choice for your setup. The Watchdog is a solid alternative too.
