Best Tools for Organizing a Coding Project Roadmap?

I'm looking for advice on how to organize a roadmap for a coding project we're working on, which is focused on social media. We're all teenagers and want to establish good habits for organization from the start. Ideally, we want a method that's free or not behind a paywall, and has an intuitive UI. Currently, we're using Notion, where we keep a list of tasks organized by project topics like frontend and backend, but it feels unstructured and we struggle with task prioritization and connections between tasks. We're hoping for a roadmap system that lets us categorize things—like UI, authentication, and communication—into a sequence of tasks, each with detailed notes and sub-tasks. We're curious about the best tools to use for this: Notion, Clickup, Jira, Asana, or something else? Any insights would be super helpful!

I'd recommend looking into Jira. It's widely used in many companies and offers solid features for organizing and roadmapping. You can create projects, epics, tasks, and subtasks, all with clear priorities and statuses. Plus, it supports comments, attachments, and workflows, making it versatile for managing your project. It might be worth learning, as it reflects how professional environments operate. If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to ask!

Thanks for the suggestion! How do we handle code documentation with Jira? Does it have an integration for that, or can we manage it within Jira itself?
