I'm just starting out with Linux and want to set up a virtual machine on my Windows computer. My goal is to test out different distributions to see which one I like best before diving into a dual-boot setup. I need a solution that allows me to easily create and delete virtual machines as needed. Any recommendations for good software?

Oracle VirtualBox is a solid choice. It's free and works really well across different platforms. Just keep an eye on your VM settings.
I think VirtualBox is great, but make sure to allocate enough CPU, memory, and disk space for your VMs. It seems Oracle hasn’t quite caught up with the resource needs of Linux lately.
If you're using Windows Pro, I'd recommend Hyper-V. It's pretty reliable and helps with performance.
VMware Workstation is another option. I’ve found it to be the most stable out of all the options if you want a smooth experience.
Another user-friendly option is Boxes. It’s easy to install from Flatpak and straightforward to use.
I heard the latest version of VirtualBox has some issues, though. It's worth checking reviews before downloading.
