Best Way to Transfer Windows from a SATA SSD to an NVMe SSD?

Hey everyone! I just picked up a 2TB NVMe SSD to replace my older 256GB SATA SSD that currently has Windows on it. I'm looking to transfer everything—Windows, all my apps, settings, and files—over to the new NVMe drive without going through the hassle of a fresh install. Is there a way to do this directly on my PC? What's the best method? Are there any reliable tools available for cloning the drive? Also, should I be aware of anything specific like potential boot issues or BIOS settings during the process? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

What type of NVMe drive did you get? If it’s a Samsung, they have a free cloning tool called Magician which is excellent for moving to their drives. If not, let me know, and I can suggest other options!

I got the Adata Legend 800 for a really good price. Do you have other software recommendations?

You might want to check out Clonezilla. I just used it to clone a 512GB NVMe to a 1TB SSD, and it worked perfectly. It's also capable of cloning over the network! Just make sure to read the documentation as it does a fantastic job.
