Hey everyone! A few months back, I left my newer phone in another country, but I'm finally getting it back soon! In the meantime, I've been using my old phone. I want to transfer all the photos from my newer phone without affecting any of the photos on my old phone. It's been about nine months since I last had access to my newer phone, so I have quite a few pictures I'd like to retrieve. Any tips on how to make this happen? Thanks! (Both phones are Androids)

You have a bunch of options! You could use the Quick Share app, Google Photos, or Google Drive for the transfer. Another way is to connect your phone with a USB cable to copy and paste the photos directly. If you're more into it, you can also save them on a USB drive or transfer them to a PC first. Just remember the 3-2-1 backup rule: keep 3 copies of your photos, two on different devices, and one in the cloud. This way, you won't lose anything if something goes wrong!
To answer your follow-up question, yes! Once you transfer your photos, they should show up in the gallery of your phone. Just make sure you follow the steps carefully so you only get the photos you want.
