Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build a gaming PC this summer and I've got a parts list ready. I plan on diving into some demanding AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077 and emulating games using RPCS3 and Xenia, so I'm looking for a setup that can handle the load. Here's what I'm thinking of getting:
- **SSD**: Samsung 990 EVO 2TB
- **RAM**: CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 16GB
- **CPU Cooler**: AMD Wraith Prism Cooler
- **Motherboard**: GIGABYTE B650M AORUS ELITE AX
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
- **GPU**: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming 16GB
- **Case**: Okinos MATX PC Case
- **PSU**: Thermaltake 700W (I calculated watts on Newegg)

Does anyone have any tips or advice based on this list? Thanks!

You're better off not going with the 7900X. If you do, make sure to invest in a good cooler; something like a 360mm AIO will help keep it cool. Emulators rely more on single-thread performance, so a 7600X or 7700X might serve you better. Aim for 32GB of DDR5 RAM with a frequency of 6000MT/s. Avoid the Thermaltake PSU; look for an ATX 3.1 gold PSU instead. Arctic MX-6 thermal paste is a good choice for the CPU, too, way better than what most coolers come with.

I recommend using PCPartPicker.com to keep track of your build and share a list URL. For RAM, go for 2x16GB 6000MHz CL30 instead of what you have. Also, don't cheap out on the power supply; the quality matters! In terms of the CPU, the 7900X isn't really ideal for gaming. Consider something like the 7600X or 7700X for better performance without overkill.

Thanks for the tips! What CPU would you suggest instead?
