I'm looking to upgrade to either a Radeon 9070 or 9070 XT and I'm wondering if my current 650W MSI A650BN 80+ Bronze power supply will be sufficient for a short period, probably a month at most. Here's my build: MSI Pro B650M-A Wi-Fi motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB Gen4 Kingston SNV3S SSD. I mainly game at 1080p right now, so I'd love some advice on this!

You should be okay if you're not pushing your system hard. Just keep in mind your PSU has only 2 PCIe connectors. Make sure the GPU model you choose fits that, like the Sapphire Pulse or Powercolor Reaper.
If you're not overclocking, you might even be good for the long haul. I've undervolted my 9070 XT to keep it cool, and it still runs great. But remember, a 650W PSU is on the lower end for long-term usage, especially if the GPU starts pulling a lot more power!
For a short term, you should be fine with the 9070. Just make sure you’re not getting a crazy overclocked version; otherwise, you could run into issues down the line.
Your setup should work, especially if the CPU isn’t high-drain. I've tested a similar system under heavy load pulling around 550W—so with your Ryzen 5, you’re probably looking at about 380-430W while gaming, leaving some buffer for your PSU.
650W sounds like enough if you keep the CPU under 105W and limit the GPU to around -10% power limit. Just be sure to monitor your system; if it starts running too hot or if power draw spikes, it's worth considering an upgrade.
