An AM4 system may make more sense at this price. A Ryzen 5 5600 paired with a suitable Radeon or GeForce graphics card can deliver excellent 1080p performance, including high or ultra settings in many games. It won’t have the same upgrade path as AM5, but spending more on the graphics card is usually better for gaming performance right now.
This is a difficult time to build on a strict ₹1 lakh budget. Graphics cards and DDR5 memory have become expensive, so a newer platform can consume most of the budget before adding the GPU, monitor, and peripherals. You may need to increase the budget, wait for prices to improve, or consider a previous-generation platform.
A Ryzen 5 7600 with an RX 7700 XT would be a strong target for 1080p gaming and could also handle 1440p reasonably well. A typical parts list would include a B650 motherboard, 16GB or preferably 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory, a 1TB NVMe SSD, a quality 650W power supply, an inexpensive tower cooler, and a well-ventilated case. However, the earlier estimate of roughly ₹93,000–₹98,000 is probably outdated, especially for RAM and SSDs. Check current prices from several reputable retailers before committing, and make sure the quote includes the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and operating-system costs if needed.
Those prices need to be verified first. Current RAM and SSD prices can be several times higher than older estimates, so the same parts list may exceed the budget substantially.
