Can I Transfer My Scanner Driver to a New PC Running Windows 11?

I recently got a new PC and it's running Windows 11. I use an old Canon Lide 210 scanner, but I've found that the driver for it is not supported on this new system, even though it works perfectly fine on my old computer that also runs Windows 11. The issue is that I need the driver to work on the new PC, and downloading the Windows 10 driver doesn't seem to help. I was wondering if there's a way to transfer the working driver from my old computer to the new one. I've tried compressing the Canon driver folder and emailing it over, but the driver doesn't recognize the scanner when I do that. Any suggestions?

I clicked the download button from this link and it worked fine for me! You might want to try again and ensure that all files are being downloaded correctly. Sometimes the issue can be that the necessary files aren't included in the initial download.

It does download, but it seems like it's missing some files when I try to set it up. That's part of the problem for me!

When you mentioned that downloading the Windows 10 driver doesn't work, what exactly happened? Did you get an error when trying to install it, or did it install without issues but still not recognize the scanner? According to a forum discussion I found, the Windows 10 driver should work if you use a different scanning software, like the built-in 'Scan and print' utility in Windows. You can check out this driver link for the Lide 210: https://en.canon-cna.com/support/consumer/products/scanners/canoscan/lide-series/canoscan-lide-210.html?type=drivers&os=Windows%2010%20(64-bit)

Thanks for the reply! The Windows 10 driver installs fine, but the folder it creates is hidden, and it doesn't have any executable file like the one on my old computer. And yes, that is exactly the driver I tried!
