Hey everyone, I currently have a PC with the following specs:

- GPU: RTX 2060, 6 GB
- CPU: Intel i7-4770 @ 3.4 GHz
- Motherboard: Fujitsu D3222-B1
- RAM: 16 GB

I'm trying to figure out if I should upgrade it with a budget of $600 to $800 or if it's better to just buy a new rig altogether. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Could you share a link to the build you’re considering? Just want to see what parts are included to assess if they’re a good deal or not.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's a good idea to upgrade your current parts. They’re pretty outdated and not worth the investment. Maybe look into a new system instead.

Got it! I'm looking at this setup for $1000. Does it sound like a solid choice?

Honestly, I’d suggest going for a whole new PC. With your current setup being a couple of generations behind, it might not be worth upgrading.

Thanks for the input! I’m looking at a new build for around $1000. Here’s what it includes:
- AMD Ryzen 7 8700F
- RTX 5060TI 16GB
- 32GB RAM DDR5
- 1TB S5D M.2
- FSP CMT192 RGB.
Do you think that’s a good deal?

If your RAM is two generations behind, then I'd hesitate to recommend an upgrade. It might help to compare the specs of the new PC you’re considering to see if it meets your needs better.

I’d say it's best to sell what you have and get something completely new. You're just going to end up hitting limitations if you try to upgrade parts of your system.

Thanks for the advice! I'm considering this new build for $1000 as well. It’s got the Ryzen and a pretty nice GPU. What do you think?
