I'm wondering if it's possible to utilize a PCI-E slot that's directly under my RTX 3090 Founders Edition GPU. Since I'm not at my PC right now, I can't check how much space there is, but I'm curious if anyone has successfully fitted a riser in that space or if I'm just dreaming about it. Has anyone tried using a riser under such a large GPU?

It really depends on your motherboard design. The RTX 3090 is quite a big card, taking up three slots. Even if you can fit a riser beneath it, adding another GPU may not work well. If the slot you're eyeing is just below the 3090, I'd suggest against trying it – it might not be worth the hassle.

The slot is literally right below the 3090. I was hoping to use a riser for my HBA-SAS card.
