Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first high-end PC build, and I came across something interesting in the specs for the ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F motherboard. It lists compatibility for AMD Ryzen 7000 Series desktop processors and mentions a PCI-e 5.0 x16 slot. I'm a bit confused—does this mean I can't use a Ryzen 9000 processor, or will it limit the PCI-e in any way? Just trying to understand if it will affect performance or compatibility, so any insights would be appreciated!

You’re good to go! The mention of Ryzen 7000 is just about updating their product page; it doesn’t mean the Ryzen 9000 is unsupported. The PCI-e 5.0 support will still work without limitations.
Totally won't limit it! Just make sure you update the BIOS to the latest version once you get everything set up, that way you have full compatibility with the Ryzen 9000.
No worries, it won’t impact anything. Just double-check your BIOS after your build, and you’ll be fine.
Appreciate the heads-up!
Thanks for clarifying that!
