I'm building a new PC and need to use Windows for Adobe Suite and CorelDraw for my work. I'm planning to dual boot with Debian and have them installed on separate drives. Is it possible to reliably use a third drive for storage and to install applications on both operating systems?

Actually, there are drivers available for Windows that allow it to read BTRFS partitions if you prefer using that format. Just keep in mind, NTFS is the simplest route for compatibility.
Absolutely! Just make sure the third drive is formatted in a way that both Windows and Debian can read it, like NTFS. Avoid using formats like EXT, BTRFS, or XFS for this storage drive if you want seamless access from both systems.
Yes, program installations should work just fine as long as you use NTFS for the storage drive. Windows can read files easily from that format, plus Debian can access it too. So go ahead and set it up!
