Can I Use My Current PSU with a Jonsbo Z20 Case?

I'm looking to downsize my PC setup from an NZXT H510 case to a Jonsbo Z20, which I bought on sale but can still return. I've done a bit of research and found that I might need to replace both my CPU cooler and power supply unit (PSU) to fit everything properly. Here are my current specs: I have an ASRock B450M Steel Legend motherboard, an ASUS TUF Radeon RX 6800 GPU, and a Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor. My current cooler is a Deepcool AS500 PLUS WH, and I also have a Corsair PSU labeled RM850, though it looks a bit different from the ones I found online. I'm curious if I can reuse my existing PSU since new SFF PSUs are quite pricey. If my PSU is compatible, I can simply swap my cooler for something like the Phantom Spirit 120 Vision Snow and proceed with the build. Has anyone managed to use a non-SFF PSU in the Jonsbo Z20?

Based on what I've seen, fitting an air tower cooler, ATX motherboard, and an ATX PSU in a small form factor (SFF) case like the Z20 might be tricky. However, I've heard some success stories about it! Just remember that the cooler's height can be a limiting factor, so make sure to check specs carefully on everything before proceeding.

I checked with the Jonsbo manufacturer, and they say you can indeed fit any ATX PSU under 180mm in length. They suggest a 140mm PSU for optimal clearance, especially with your GPU. I built a compact PC using an In Win 301 before, which is slightly bigger than the Z20, and it worked fine without needing SFF parts.

Your current RM850 PSU should technically fit, as they're all around 160mm in size. The Z20 is capable of handling PSUs up to about 220mm, depending on how you position it and your GPU's length. You're at a good spot since your GPU should work with proper configuration. Just check the lengths carefully!
