Can My Parents See My Online Activity?

I have a personal computer that my parents don't access, and I use my phone's hotspot for the internet. If I search for something in YouTube's incognito mode, will my parents still be able to see what I've been looking up?

Incognito mode won’t prevent your activity from being tracked by your internet provider or services. It's mainly for local privacy. Just relax and surf safe!

You're good! As long as you're on your personal computer and connected to your phone's hotspot, they can't see your searches. Just remember, if they notice no internet traffic from your computer, it might raise some questions.

It depends. In general, if your parents aren't using any specific monitoring software, they probably can't see your activity. Just keep in mind that if there are ways they're tracking you, they could potentially find out.

They can't see what you're doing unless they're monitoring your network. But if they're noticing absolutely no activity from your computer, that could seem suspicious to them.

Using incognito mode doesn't hide your activity from your internet provider or Google. It just means that your browsing won't show up in your computer’s browser history. If you're using your own hotspot, your parents shouldn't see anything.
