I'm looking to build my first PC and I have some parts in mind, but I'm not sure if they'll all work together. I have no real budget limitations, but I'm trying not to overspend. I occasionally play high-end games, maybe something like Cyberpunk 2077 right now, and I'm based in Japan. Here's what I have:
- RAM: I'll stick with my existing 32GB DDR4 since DDR5 is quite expensive right now.
- M.2 Drive: I plan to transfer my existing M.2 drive over.
- PSU: I have a 1000W power supply that I received as a gift.
Here are the components I'm considering:
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black CPU Cooler
- ASRock X870E Taichi Lite EATX AM5 Motherboard
- MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB Video Card
- Corsair 3500X ARGB ATX Mid Tower Case
Is there anything I'm overlooking? Even small items, like cables or accessories, would be helpful to know about!

I'm curious why you'd pick ASRock when they've had issues with the 9800X3D getting too hot. There are definitely other brands you might want to consider right now.
Check this build link for a different configuration: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qbwbXf. It might help you find better alternatives that are compatible and stable.
Unfortunately, you can't use DDR4 RAM with that ASRock motherboard since it only supports DDR5. You’ll need to get some DDR5 RAM to make it all work together. Everything else should be fine, but double-check compatibility on the motherboard.
I thought RAMs were backward compatible? Is that not the case? Thanks for the info! Does everything else look good?

I really don't have much knowledge about this! I picked the 5070 Ti based on reviews and recommendations from stores here, so I figured it was a safe choice.
