I'm trying to verify my Discord account with my phone number, but the system defaults to the USA and I can't change it to my actual country. I've been using this account for a few months now, and it's frustrating because I've verified other accounts in the past without any issues. I wasn't using a VPN or proxy, so my IP should be fine. Has anyone else faced this problem or know how to fix it?

If it's a new account, I would suggest creating a new one with the correct country IP. But since you've been on Discord for years and never had to deal with phone verification before, this sounds odd. You might want to check if there's a regional setting you're missing.
Sometimes it does seem like a bug. I noticed you can only change the country settings from the desktop version of Discord, not on mobile. Have you tried that? It might let you select the correct country there!
It's not a new account for me. I’ve been using this one for months! My old account had no trouble with phone verification, so I really don’t get why this is happening now.
