I've got a solid setup with an RX 6600, Asus Prime B550-A WiFi II, and a Ryzen 5 5600X, and generally, my PC runs beautifully without overheating, even when idling. However, when I try gaming, things go south pretty quickly. My PC crashes, resulting in black screens or BSOD with artifacts, but it doesn't show any artifacts during regular use or stress testing with tools like Unigine Heaven or OCCT. My question is, could the power issues related to my daisy chained PCIe cables be causing these WHEA errors and crashes?

Nope, the GPU only draws the power it needs, so daisy chaining cables shouldn't directly cause power spikes. I recommend using HWinfo64 to monitor your temperatures—something might be overheating under load that isn't obvious during idle times.

But isn't it possible that the other daisy chained cables could be pulling power too, causing an undervoltage situation on the cable to the GPU? Just a thought, I might be off here.
