Could my coworker’s message be AI-generated?

I received a message from my coworker that feels unusually polished, almost like it was generated by AI. Here are some parts of her text: 'Happy holidays, and thanks for laying out your ideas so clearly! Even without our face-to-face meeting, you've kept the momentum rolling! I'm completely on board. Let's build a concise info sheet and email it to area teachers. Reaching middle-schoolers earlier is a smart move...' I'm wondering if this style or wording seems AI-generated or if it's just my perception. Can someone weigh in on this?

The message sounds well-articulated for sure, but it could also just be a result of good writing skills. If that’s not her first language, it might even be a slightly weird translation. Check her usual writing style – if it's generally more casual and this is a jump up in professionalism, then maybe. Otherwise, it's probably just her being thorough!

I ran it through Quillbot’s AI content detector and it came back saying it's human-generated. Sometimes AI can mimic a certain human tone really well, but this might just be a savvy coworker trying to sound professional!

It's totally possible! AI-generated text often has a certain flow and structure that can stand out. But honestly, lots of people write that way now too — it could just be a well-phrased message. You also have to consider that the details she repeated from your original message might seem like AI behavior, but some really good communicators just echo what's discussed to show they're onboard. Either way, who knows? Everyone uses AI these days!

I can't say for sure if it's AI or not, but I've seen similar writing styles in AI-generated content. However, AI detection tools like Quillbot sometimes say texts are human-written when they might not be! It's a bit hit or miss. It's worth checking out AI detection tools just for fun. It might clear things up a bit.
