Hey everyone! I think my PC should be performing better with the games I'm playing. Here are my specs: i7 13k, RTX 6800xt, 32GB RAM DDR4, a 512GB SSD which I primarily use for my AAA titles, and a 2TB HDD. I've noticed that my current games don't even utilize half of my VRAM but still run choppy. I'm curious if my storage might be the issue, and I'm wondering if it's time to upgrade to an M.2 or NVMe drive, or if there might be another cause for these performance issues. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Remember, VRAM isn't everything. What’s your resolution and refresh rate? Check your CPU and GPU load through Task Manager too. And make sure your monitor is plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard. I have a similar setup, and my games usually run smoothly, so it should be possible for you too.
Check how much space you have left on your SSD. When it fills up around 20%, they can start acting up. So how's your storage looking?
I have about 30GB left, so it's not completely full.
How’s your power supply? And again, what’s the free space on your SSD? Those things matter too.
Make sure your GPU is properly plugged in. The SSD could also be a factor since 512GB can fill up fast. Also, running HWiNFO64 is a smart move to see real-time usage stats. Definitely check that out!
First off, try running HWiNFO64 while gaming to see if you're hitting any CPU, GPU, memory, or disk limits. That's a great way to pinpoint where the bottleneck might be.
I’m using RivaTuner and saw that my GPU is hitting around 97% and about 2100 MHz. What do you think?

It’s odd; I’ve always felt my GPU was underperforming. Right now, it's running at 97% with around 2100 MHz. Is that MHz too low?
