I'm new to building PCs, and I need some advice on my current setup. Here's what I have so far:
- Case: Corsair frame 5000D
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite WIFI7
- CPU: R7 9800x3D
- CPU Cooler: Phantom Spirit 120
- GPU: RX 9070 XT Aorus Elite (not planning to switch to a 5070Ti)
- RAM: 2x16Gb Corsair Vengeance CL30
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 4TB
- PSU: Lian Li Edge 1000W
- Fans: Noctua NF-A12
If anyone has suggestions for changes or improvements, I'd really appreciate your input!

Just a heads up, make sure your RAM is DDR5! I’d suggest going for the X870 motherboard instead. Also, I know people have varying experiences with AMD GPUs, so if you’re open to suggestions, maybe check out the 5070 Ti as an alternative. Totally understand if it’s not your thing, though!
You might consider checking out PCPartPicker to save some cash. You can find equivalent parts that may fit your budget better. Also, why did you go for the B850 motherboard? Just curious! The RX 9070 XT Aorus Elite is more expensive than the Gaming OC version, which might not be worth it for your needs. Plus, that PSU seems a bit pricey—850W should do just fine!
The Gaming OC is actually $150 more where I live, so it adds up! I really picked the motherboard for its awesome overclock support, but I guess it's a bit of a gamble!

Thanks for the tip! It’s such a struggle trying to choose the right motherboard; everyone has different opinions! Some tell me to stick with the B850, others want me to switch to the X870!
