Did I break my motherboard or CPU?

I'm really anxious that I might have damaged my motherboard or CPU. I figured out that my heating issue was due to a lack of thermal paste and my heatsink not fitting properly on the CPU. When I tried to take off the heatsink, the CPU got stuck to it, and I'm not sure if there are any broken pins. Now, the locking mechanism on the motherboard for the CPU doesn't seem to work. Can anyone give me some advice? My motherboard is a B450 Tomahawk Max, and I have a Ryzen 3 3200G.

Have you tried taking some pictures of the CPU and motherboard? It’d really help to see if there are any bent pins or damage. Also, can you tell us if you managed to get the CPU off the cooler? How did you do it?

I put everything back together out of panic, which was a bad idea. I did get the CPU to lock back in, but now when I start the PC, it powers up but doesn’t show any display. No BIOS screen or anything. It's really worrying.
