I've just received a notification that my passwords might have been compromised in a data leak, but I haven't found any solid information about it yet. How can I confirm this and what should I do next?

How did you find out about this? Sometimes, you might get a notification from the service itself saying your password has been compromised. It’s always a bit worrying!

Yeah, I got one from Apple that warned me about mine!

I usually check with notifications from various apps that might alert you.

You can use services that monitor the dark web for leaks. Some providers will notify you if your details show up there, which can help you stay ahead of any issues.

If you're using Apple, just open the Passwords app and tap on Security. It will show any known compromised passwords. It's a handy way to stay on top of things!
