I'm considering subscribing to Frontend Masters to enhance my skills in web development. My goal is to learn and build various projects over time. Ideally, I'd like to find a freelancer willing to mentor me and pay me a small amount for tasks that I can help with. Right now, I'm not looking for a full-time commitment; I'm a stay-at-home dad and just want to earn a little extra while working at night when my family is asleep. Are there opportunities like this in the freelance world?

It can be tricky! From my experience, handing over tasks to less experienced developers often takes more time and effort than just doing it myself. However, I wouldn’t completely rule it out. If you had a clear agreement where you handled simpler parts of a project, like layout or CSS, a freelancer might consider it, as long as they trust your skills enough to not have to redo a lot of it later.
I'm not looking to turn this into a full-time gig, just something flexible to fit around my family schedule. Do you think jobs like that actually exist?
