Do I Need a GPU Support for My New Build?

I'm planning to build a PC using a Corsair 3500x case, and I'll be using a PNY GeForce RTX 5070 GPU along with an ASUS TUF B850M-E WIFI motherboard. Since it's my first time dealing with a triple-fan setup, I'm wondering if I should invest in a GPU support due to the weight of the 5070. What do you all think? Is it essential in this case?

Honestly, there's no good reason to skip a GPU support. Whether you buy a budget one or use something from your house, it’s just smart to have one. Some GPUs clearly don’t need it, but if yours does, it’s not worth the risk of damage!

Absolutely! High-end GPUs like the RTX 5070 should definitely be supported to prevent any sagging. Using an anti-sag holder is a good move—trust me on this one!

If you're looking for an affordable option, you can find adjustable all-metal GPU supports on AliExpress for just a couple of bucks—2 to 5 dollars!

For sure! GPU support brackets are pretty cheap—most are under $30, and they can save you from potential damage. Plus, you can get creative! Just grab whatever you have lying around; even a book or some Legos can work as a quick fix!

I once saw someone use all sorts of stuff, like a bullet shell and a piece of cardboard. People get pretty inventive!

I think using a support is a good idea, but I’ve known people who didn’t use them and had no issues. I used a 3090 FTW3 for a while without one, and it was fine, but each card is different!

Just so you know, this case actually comes with an anti-sag bracket pre-installed. You just have to adjust it for your GPU, so you should be all set!
