I'm working on a personal project that uses Google sign-in, but I'm running into an issue. The scopes I need to use require verification of my project. Currently, it's showing a warning during user sign-in because I don't have ownership of a domain. I've deployed my project on Vercel, but as a student, I really can't afford to pay for a domain subscription. Is there any way to get my project verified without having to buy a domain?

As a student, I get it, but remember that domain ownership is super important for security and authenticity. It's true that many social media sign-ins need you to own the domain to prevent misuse. The good news is that while it may seem expensive, many domains only cost around $1-$2 per month, charged yearly. It might be worth considering if it helps you avoid those warnings.
You might want to check out Cloudflare for a domain. They offer .com domains for under $10 a year. It's a pretty affordable option and could save you some hassle down the line.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely look into Cloudflare.

I totally get the budget thing! If you have to, buying a domain is a solid investment for future projects too, so it might pay off in the long run.
