I've been dealing with a frustrating stuttering issue while gaming for the past few months. The stutter usually kicks in right after I boot up my PC but tends to go away after a couple of hours. My system was running games smoothly until this started happening. Here are my specs and what I've done so far to troubleshoot:
**System Specs:**
- CPU: RYZEN 7 9700x
- GPU: 9070 XT
- PSU: Be Quiet Pure Power 13m 850w
- 32 GB DDR5 RAM
- Dual monitors: 1440p at 185 Hz and 1080p at 165 Hz
**Troubleshooting Steps Taken:**
- Updated GPU drivers
- Ensured Windows is fully up to date
- Checked CPU and GPU temperatures; they seem normal, mostly in the 60s and 70s while gaming
- Ran Windows memory diagnostics with no issues found
- Conducted a hard drive error check; no problems detected
- Set power settings to performance mode
- Tried toggling G-Sync/Freesync on and off
- Reinstalled Windows (wipe included)
- Upgraded GPU and PSU from NVIDIA to AMD
- Repasted the CPU
- Bought a new Ethernet cable; internet speeds are good, averaging over 400 Mbps for both upload and download
The stuttering occurs in games like Overwatch, Battlefield 6, and Guild Wars 2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked if your power settings are set to 'Performance'? I remember when I had stuttering issues, that was a critical part of solving it for me!
Hey there! Just to clarify, did you upgrade from an NVIDIA GPU to AMD a few months back? Sometimes these transitions can lead to driver conflicts or issues in settings.
Nah, there wasn't a triggering event I can think of. I had the stuttering issue with the NVIDIA GPU as well before upgrading to AMD a few weeks ago.

I actually checked that already and changed it to performance mode, but the stuttering still continued.
