I'm putting together my first PC and would love some feedback to ensure I made the right choices. My current build includes a 9800X3D CPU, a Corsair iCUE H150i Elite cooler, an MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard, and I'm using Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 memory that I already have. For storage, I've got a Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 2TB M.2 NVMe and a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, both of which I already own. The GPU is an Asus Geforce RTX 5080, housed in a Fractal Design North XL ATX case, and I've switched the power supply from a Corsair SF750 to the Corsair RM850x. Is there anything I should change or improve? I've heard some concerns about fitting the AIO cooler and the GPU, plus potential BIOS issues with the motherboard. Should I consider a different motherboard altogether? Thanks in advance for your help!

You've got a solid lineup, but I noticed you originally planned on using an SFX power supply which is a bit odd for a full ATX case. Sometimes mixing those can lead to tight fits. Switching to the Corsair RM850x is a smart move—750W might be pushing it for your setup, so stick with 850W just to be safe. You likely won’t need a BIOS update right off the bat, but if you encounter issues, it’s usually pretty straightforward. As for fitting that AIO cooler with the 5080, it sounds like a tight squeeze but should be manageable! Overall, your choices look great!
Just a heads-up about that SFX PSU: it's generally meant for compact builds. Since you're going for a larger ATX case, it might not be ideal. And with that RTX 5080, you'd want at least 750W as the bare minimum, but honestly, aim for that 850W for a little more breathing room with power.
That totally makes sense, thanks for clarifying!
I just wrapped up my build recently—would love to share some tips! You can check my list here for inspiration: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/7NmHVF
I hate to say it, but have you checked out prebuilt options? There are PCs with similar specs going for about a thousand bucks less. I found a few options that seem pretty sweet for gaming, so if you're okay with that route, it might save you some cash. Just something to think about!
Wow, I had no idea they were that much cheaper! I guess the parts list I made is a bit on the pricey side since I wanted to go for reputable brands. Appreciate the heads up!
If you really want to go all out, consider moving to an ASUS ROG motherboard and using a higher wattage PSU like the Seasonic 1600W if you plan to upgrade in the future. It might give you more options down the line!

Good to know! I didn’t think about the wattage when I saw 750W. Thanks for the tip about upgrading!
